field notes
Three troops of fruit bodies each in mossy areas of hemlock-dominated mixed woods (labeled A, B, C in photos). Spores with 7 septa; 85-107 x 7-7.5, some slightly curved. Paraphyses septate with cells near the apices wider than those below. Some cells with a thin median wall. Septa constricted giving the appearance of a string of beads. Asci appearing dark (in KOH) from maturing spores. No setae found.
