CLASS A Specimen growing in one of several test tubes used for plant performance tests. Tube concentrations ranged from 0% to 100% crude oil (w/ some aggregate matter/grit/dirt), the latter having the consistency of sludge. This specimen was discovered on the surface of one of four 100% crude concentration tubes. No other visible photosynthetic or fungal growth was detected anywhere else throughout the tube.
